Help Support Victims of the Earthquake in Haiti
Following the devastating earthquake in Haiti on Tuesday 12th January 2010, Eirtight has been working to help our client Comcel keep mobile communications in the country operational. Devastation on the scale of that witnessed last week is hard to imagine, but timely and organised co-ordination of the relief efforts is essential, and mobile phone communication is a vital element in the success of this effort.
We would encourage everyone to provide whatever assistance they can to the people of Haiti. Current estimates suggest that over 200,000 people have been killed and 3 million people are now homeless. Any support you can give is welcome and we would ask you to donate either to a registered Irish charity that is involved in relief efforts, such as Concern or Trocaire, or directly to the Voila Comcel Foundation relief fund. Links to these organisations are provided below for your convenience.
